Study, study, study (open - library - tag Henry, Clementine or Sophia)  
Grace was not a fan of the multiplication tables.

They weren't hard just monotonous. Math sucked. So did math homework but if she didn't do it she wouldn't be allowed to watch TV or go hang out with Kamekona and play cards when Danno had work.

She heaved a sigh and refocused on her math paper, sort of, she periodically looked up and glanced around as though looking for rescue. Rescue from the nines tables.

Henry had his book with him. He was supposed to be studying for English, but he didn't want to. Besides, his book on fairy tales was in English. That counted, right?

He was walking by the table where the girl sat when he saw the multiplication table. His nose wrinkled. "Math. Gross."

"Agreed," but at least she only had a few more to do. "That looks like a cool book."

She gave the boy an assessing look, he was sort of familiar.

"Do you go to the school?"

He nodded. "Yeah. I'm in fifth grade. And thanks." Henry looked at his book with a fond smile. "It's my favourite book. Has a lot of cool stories in it."

"What is it?" She liked to read, it was maybe her favorite thing.

Henry walked up to the table and put the book on the tabletop, then opened it. "It's a book of fairy tales. Only these are the real ones that happened to real people."

He flipped through the pages until he came to a page with a picture on it. He pointed at them. "They're actually my grandparents. Snow White and Prince Charming."

And Henry looked incredibly proud to say so.

She stared at him wide eyed, then at the picture, then at him again.

"You're Snow White's grandson." Wait... did that mean he was a prince?

It was nice to actually talk to people who didn't look at him like he was crazy or who told him he needed a psychiatrist. He nodded again. "I know it's sounds really weird, but it's true. I only found out like a year and a half ago when I found this book."

Sophia sighs heavily, putting her pencil down. She hates social studies. Her entire world is gone AND she's dead, so what's the point? She's never going back to her world.

She still doesn't understand why she even has to GO to school.

"Probably, I'm in third grade." But there were that many kids in the village so maybe the age difference wouldn't matter.
