Yours, Mine, and Ours *closed to Elphaba*  
Glinda woke up, Elphaba laying asleep next to her. Her love had a long few days in the village guard. For her first weekend, she wasn’t sure if Elphaba had a rude awakening or a change of heart. Either way, it didn’t matter. The way Glinda behaved was nothing short of atrocious. And Elphie didn’t deserve that. It was truly rare that Glinda woke up before Elphie. Even rarer when she decided to cook. She quietly slipped out of bed, fully aware that Elphaba could sleep through anything.

Glinda cooked up pancakes and bacon, both from the recipe book. She brewed a pot of coffee. With Elphaba still asleep, she sent a message to make sure this did not happen again. She intended to keep it her secret. After all, there were some things Elphie didn’t need to know about. Especially since this was her issue to deal with, not Elphaba’s. Hearing Elphaba stir, Glinda went to the kitchen. She magically reheated the breakfast and waited for her love to wake up after a VERY long couple of days.

Elphaba was sound asleep as Glinda prepared breakfast. Finally the smell of bacon begins to bring her out of her deep sleep. Rolling over, she searches for Glinda with her arm. When she didn't find her there, Elphaba began to open her eyes slowly. "Mmm...morning sweetheart."

Glinda slid into bed next to Elphie with a big grin.

"Good morning! I made you breakfast. And I didn't even use magic." Well, OK, she reheated it with magic, but that didn't count.

Elphaba smiled as pulled Glinda in close. "Oh really? It smells wonderful. Are you sure none of it is burnt?"

"Now, if it were burnt, Mrs. Thropp-Upperton, wouldn't you be able to smell it?" Glinda asked, scoffing, "Be careful, I think I'm rubbing off on you." Glinda said, laughing, as she kissed Elphie softly on the lips.

Elphaba smirked as she shook her head slowly. "Perhaps, but perhaps you just used a spell to mask the smell of the burnt food." Honestly she was touched that Glinda had decided to cook for her at all.

Glinda looked at her, slightly offended, before laughing.

"No, I haven't hidden anything. Besides, with my luck I would say swell instead of smell, and we would have four foot pancakes." Glinda said, with a wink.

Elphaba smirked as she gently ran her hand through Glinda's golden locks. "While that would have been interesting to see. I'm glad to see that didn't happen."

"I could try now if you like." Glinda said, looking at Elphaba with pure adoration, as those fingers ran through her hair. Her free arm wrapped around Elphie, a bright smile on her face.

Elphaba smirked as she pulled Glinda in close. "Mmm...nah. Why don't we just enjoy the wonderful meal you have already cooked."

"Sounds good, my love." Glinda said, helping her up. She beat Elphaba to the counter, before pouring them both a cup of coffee, and setting the plates on the counter.

Elphaba grinned as she watched Glinda dish out breakfast. "Mmm, it looks good sweetheart."

"I hope so. I wanted to do something special for you after my beastly behavior these past few days." Glinda said, getting the syrup from the refrigerator.

Elphaba smiles softly as she places her hand on Glinda's. "I know that you only behaved that way because you are worried about me Glinda."

"Worried isn't the word. It's more like petrified. I don't want to loose you again, Elphie." Glinda said, as she poured the syrup onto Elphie's plate, "It still doesn't give me an excuse to act like a petulant child.

Elphaba begins eating the lovely breakfast without pushing much more. It was such a pleasant morning, she didn't want to worry Glinda by making her think about it any more.

"Well, is this how you intend to make it up to me my sweet?"

"One of the many things today." Glinda said, a playful gleam in her eyes. She had a lot planned for Elphie today. Most of it involved indulging Elphie.

"Whatever you want, my love." Glinda said, smiling at how fast Elphie ate, "But I would like to start with drawing you a nice hot bubble bath. After the weekend you've had, you should relax." Glinda said, heading off to run it.
